Til Kaju Wale Paneer Pakode recipe - How to make Til Kaju Wale Paneer Pakode

Makes 4 servings
50 gms sesame seeds (til)
150 gms besan (bengal gram flour)
15 cashewnuts (kaju) , fried
100 gms paneer (cottage cheese)
4 bread slices
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
1 tbsp chopped onions
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 cup chopped coriander (dhania)
1/4 cup chopped mint leaves (phudina)
salt to taste
oil for deep frying
- Method
- Dry roast til seeds in a pan.Crush fried kaju.
- Grate paneer, add besan, garam masala powder,chilli powder and ajwain to the grated paneer. Mix well.
- Cut off the sides of the bread, soak in water, squeeze the water and mix with the paneer mixture.
- Add chopped onion, fried kaju, coriander, mint and salt to it.
- Add til seeds gently in the end to the mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan. Make small balls with the dough and deep fry on medium heat.
- Serve hot with tomato sauce or green chutney.
