A tasty and healthy recipe of coarsely ground urad dal mixed with spices and condiments and roasted in ghee.
Urid Dal Chains recipe - How to make Urid Dal Chains

1 cup urad dal (split black lentil) flour
4 tsp ghee or butter
6 cloves of garlic (lehsun), crushed
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tsp garam masala
salt to taste
3 cups water
5 tsp plain flour (maida)
Method
- Roast urad dal in the ghee till it turns golden.
- Add 5 spoon plain flour and stir for 2 minutes
- Add the other all ingredients and boil it for 10 to 15 minutes
- Garnish with coriander leaves
