Vatha pulambu recipe - How to make Vatha pulambu
Cooking Time: Total Time:
8 small sized onions
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
7 ladies finger (bhindi)
1 cup tamarind (imli) water
2 tbsp chilli powder
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
salt as required
Method
- Put oil and fry mustard seeds and onions till golden brown.
- Grind it well.
- Take the paste and put it in the kadai with oil.
- Pour the tamarind water
- Add manjal powder and chilli powder and salt
- Keep stirring it .
- Add cut fried small pieces of ladies finger
- Boil for 15 mins
- Serve hot with rice
