Ingredients


For Veg Lollipop
3 cups boiled and mashed potatoes
1/2 cup capsicum
1/4 cup grated carrot
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
1/4 cup finely chopped french beans
2 tsp ginger (adrak)
1/2 tsp green chilli paste
1 1/2 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp chaat masala
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1/4 cup bread crumbs
salt and to taste
bread crumbs for rolling
oil for deep frying

For Slurry
1/4 cup plain flour (maida)
1/4 cup cornflour
1 tsp dried oregano
salt and to taste

Method
For veg lollipop

  1. To make {span class="bold1"}veg lollipop{/span}, in a small bowl add plain flour, corn flour, oregano, salt and pepper to taste. Whisk well and keep aside.
  2. In another big bowl add potatoes, capsicum, carrot, onions, french beans, ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste, chilli flakes, oregano, chaat masala, coriander, breadcrumbs, pepper and salt to taste.
  3. Mix well to form a mixture.
  4. Divide into 10 equal portions, insert a ice cream stick in the center and shape into lollipop.
  5. Repeat step 4 to make remaining 9 lollipops.
  6. Heat oil in a deep pan and deep fry 2 or 3 lollipops at a time till golden brown and crisp.
  7. Drain on an absorbent paper.
  8. Serve the {span class="bold1"}veg lollipop{/span} hot with tomato ketchup.

  20. Heat oil in a deep pan and deep fry 2 or 3 lollipops at a time till golden brown and crisp.
