Vegatable khichdi recipe - How to make Vegatable khichdi
Cooking Time: Total Time:
1/4 cup rice (chawal)
1/4 cup moong dal (split green gram)
1 pinch turmeric powder (haldi)
salt and cumin seeds (jeera) powder to taste
1/2 cup boiled and mashed bottle gourd (doodhi / lauki)
1/2 cup boiled and mashed carrots
1/2 tsp ghee
Method
- Boil rice, moong dal & vegatables in a pressure cooker
- Add salt, turmeric powder & jeer powder while boiling.
- Mash the khichdi properly with hands & serve warm with ghee
