A healthy and nutritios sandwich filled with various raw vegetables. Serve with ketchup or chutney.
Vegetable Junglee Sandwich recipe - How to make Vegetable Junglee Sandwich

4 white bread slices or brown bread slices
1/4 cup thick cream
1 tbsp cheese spread or 1/4 cup grated processed cheese
1 small sized onion, finely chopped or 1 spring onion with greens
1 lettuce leaf (optional)
1/2 cucumber, chopped
1/4 carrot, finely chopped
1/4 medium sized tomato, finely chopped
1 pod of garlic (lehsun), crushed
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania) , chopped celery or chopped mint leaves (phudina)
butter as required
salt to taste
2 pinches of dry red chilli flakes (paprika) or chilli powder
dash of black pepper (kalimirch) powder (optional)
Method
- Mix all the vegetables, cream and cheese and masalas together in a bowl.
- Ensure that the vegetables are coated with the cream and cheese, if not you could add some more cheeseor cheese spread.
- Divide this into two portions and place one portion betweeen two slices of bread and grill using butter to grease.
- Grill till light brown and serve with tomato sauce.
