Make sure that the ladys finger is not deep fried...the dish shouls be soft...it can be served with rotis or hot rice

ladys finger- 1 kg
kadalai maavu(besan) - 4-5 tbsp
thair(curd) - 1 cup
salt -to taste
chilly powder - 2-3 tsp
jeera powder- 2-3 tsp
perungaaya powder (asafoetida powder) - pinch
turmeric powder - 1-2 tsp
oil - for frying
mustard seeds - 1 tsp
ulutham paruppu - 1 tsp
Method
- 1)mix well kadalai maavu, curd, salt, chilly powder, jeera powder, perungaaya powder n turmeric powder in a bowl..keep aside
- 2) cut ladys finger into 1 inch pieces and put them in the above mixture..
- 3)leave as it is...let the ladys finger gets marinated for 20 minutes
- 4)after 20 mins...put oil in a kadaai and tamper muster seeds and ulutham paruppu...then add the marinated ladys finger and for 5 minutes with 1 or 2 sppons of water...serve hot
