Ingredients


To Be Mixed Together For The Filling
1/2 cup crumbled paneer (cottage cheese)
1/2 cup sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane) , crushed
2 green chillies , finely chopped
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
2 tbsp bread crumbs
1 tbsp cornflour
salt to taste
bread crumbs for coating
oil for deep-frying

Other Ingredients
4 burger buns , cut into 2 halves
4 tbsp eggless mayonnaise
1 tomato , thinly sliced
1 onion , thinly sliced
1/2 cup shredded lettuce
salt to taste

Method
For the filling

    For the filling
  1. Divide the filling into 4 equal portions.
  2. Shape each portion into a cutlet or patties.
  3. Roll each cutlet on the bread crumbs till they are covered evenly from all the sides.
  4. Heat oil in a kadhai and deep fry the patties till they are golden brown in colour from all the sides.
  5. Drain on absorbent paper and keep aside.

  1. Heat a tava and roast each bun using a little butter or oil.
  2. Place a cutlet on the base of a toasted burger bun.
  3. Top with 1 tbsp of mayonnaise, some tomato slices, onion slices, shredded lettuce and sprinkle some salt and pepper. Place the other half of the burger bun on top and press gently.
  4. Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make 3 more burgers.
  5. Serve hot with french fries.
