Pan fried potatoes marinated min a paste of corriander seeds, garlic and red chillies. A tasty snack.

1/4 kg baby potatoes
4 tbsp coriander (dhania) seeds
5 to 6 cloves of garlic (lehsun)
5 to 6 whole dry kashmiri red chillies
1 " piece of tamarind (imli)
1 tbsp oil
1/2 tbsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/4 tbsp asafoetida (hing)
Method
- Boil and peel potatoes
- Grind corriander, garlic, red chillies, tamarind into a coarse-dry paste
- Add the paste to the potatoes and keep for abot 5 minutes
- Heat oil in a pan
- Add jeera and asafoetida
- Add potatoes and heat for 10 minutes
