Aawla Eechaar recipe - How to make Aawla Eechaar

500 gms amla (indian gooseberries)
750 gms vinegar
375 gms sugar
375 gms jaggery (gur)
500 gms dates (khajur)
1/2 tsp chilli powder
3 tbsp finely sliced ginger (adrak)
1 tbsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
small bunch of mint leaves (phudina)
Method
- Wash aawla nicely.
- Boil aawla in water till soft.
- Add all ingredients and boil till thick.
- Cool and fill in clean bottles.
