Baby Corn Bullets recipe - How to make Baby Corn Bullets

Makes 20 bullets
20 nos. baby corn
To Be Mixed Together In Paste
chilli powder to taste
1 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
chaat masala and dried mango powder (amchur) to taste
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tsp oil
Other Ingredients
2 tbsp cornflour
6 tbsp besan (bengal gram flour)
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
salt to taste
chilled soda as required
oil for frying
Method
- Method
- Cut the baby corns horizontally and blanch them in water for 2 minutes. Drain the water and marinate the baby corn with the prepared paste. Keep aside in the refrigerator for 5 minutes.
- For the batter, combine the corn flour, bengal gram flour, chilli powder, coriander powder, ginger-garlic paste, salt and soda to get the required thick consistency.
- Heat the oil in a deep-pan. When the oil is hot,dip baby corn in the prepared batter and deep fry till it turns crispy golden brown in colour.
- Serve it with sauce or mint chutney
