For Badami Paneers
1 1/2 cups paneer (cottage cheese) cubes
1/2 cup tomato puree
a pinch of turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1/2 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
2 tbsp fresh cream
a pinch of sugar
4 tbsp oil
salt to taste
To Be Ground To A Smooth Paste
20 almonds (badam) , soaked
4 soaked whole dry kashmiri red chillies , broken into pieces
1/2 cup roughly chopped onions
12 mm piece of ginger (adrak)
1 tsp roughly chopped garlic (lehsun)
1/2 cup water
For The Garnish
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
For badami paneer

- To make {span class="bold1"}badami paneer in a microwave{/span}, ccombine the paneer, turmeric powder, ½ tsp of chilli powder, 1 tbsp of oil and salt in a microwave safe bowl, mix well and microwave on high for 1 minute. Keep aside.
- Combine the remaining 3 tbsp of oil and the prepared paste in a microwave safe bowl, mix well, cover with a microwave safe lid and microwave on high for 5 minutes, while stirring once in between after 2½ minutes.
- Add the tomato purée, remaining chilli powder, garam masala, cumin seeds powder, coriander powder and salt, mix well and microwave on high for 3 minutes.
- Add the paneer, cream and sugar, mix well and microwave on high for 2 minutes.

The recipe surely looks delicious but I couldn''t make it as it requires a microwave which I don''t have. One suggestion, kindly tag recipes which requires any specific cooking medium like microwave as everybody might not have one. Rest the app and recipes are superb. CB - really yummy and easy to make! However, I felt the garlic overshadowed the taste of the badam. I would make it next next without garlic and lesser whole red chilli
