1 1/2 cups bean sprouts
1/4 red capsicum, thinly sliced
For the dressing
1 clove of garlic (lehsun), crushed
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp vinegar
1 red chilli, finely sliced
2 tbsp powdered peanuts
1 tbsp oil
For the garnish
1 spring onion, chopped
chopped coriander (dhania)
strips of yellow pepper and red pepper

- for the dressing
- In a pan, heat the oil and fry the garlic. keep aside. drain the oil.
- Mix the garlic with the vinegar, soya sauce, sugar, chilli powder, red chilli and peanuts.

- In a bowl, place the bean sprouts, capsicum and red chilli and pour the dressing over it.
- Toss the salad.
- Serve chilled garnished with spring onions, coriander, yellow and red peppers.
