A great way of preparing broccoli is by mixing them with onion, garlic, flour and seasonings as in Broccoli fritters recipe and enjoy these crispy fried broccoli tit bits with chilli sauce and a cup of tea.

ING:
500 gms broccoli florets
1 tbsp lemon juice
6 tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic (lehsun)
1 tsp crushed black pepper and crushed mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
4 tbsp seasoned plain flour (maida)
2 tbsp bread crumbs
2 tbsp maize flour (makai ka atta)
2 tbsp chopped parsley
oil for deep-frying
Method
- Puree the lemon juice, olive oil, garlic,peppercorn and mustard seeds in a blender and place in a bowl.
- Add the broccoli, turn to coat and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Dip the broccoli sprigs in seasoned flour + cornstarch + chopped parsley + water + salt mixture and finally well coat in the breadcrumbs.
- Deep fry in hot oil for 2-3 minute.
- Drain well.
