Mushrooms and capsicum is a novel combination and accompanied with specific masalas work wonders to our taste buds. Mushroom and capsicum fry is a tasty and colourful dish which can be served with roti or parathas.

Makes 4 servings
1 tbsp oil
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 tsp chopped green chillies
1 tsp chopped ginger (adrak)
1 cup sliced capsicum
100 gms sliced mushrooms (khumbh)
1/4 tsp chilli powder
salt to taste
3 tbsp tomato ketchup
Method
- Method
- Heat the oil in a pan, add the onions, green chillies and ginger and saute on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
- Add the capiscum, mushroom, chilli powder and salt and saute for 2 to 4 minutes.
- Add the tomato sauce and sprinkle little water and simmer for 2 minutes on a medium flame.
- Serve hot.
