Cauliflower with Peanut Sauce

Juicy cauliflower florets combine very well with the nutty, lingering flavour of peanuts. Here, a creamy sauce of peanut butter fondly coats perfectly cooked florets of cauliflower, along with crunchy crushed peanuts that impart an exciting twist to the whole creation. It is indeed enjoyable to experience the interplay of cauliflower with the crushed peanuts in every mouthful of the Cauliflower in Peanut Sauce.

Makes 2 servings
1 cup cooked cauliflower florets
1 tbsp plain flour (maida)
1/2 tbsp peanut butter
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup crushed peanuts
1/2 tbsp butter
salt to taste
- Method
- Heat the butter in a broad non-stick pan and add the plain flour and cook on a medium flame for a few seconds.
- Add the peanut butter and cook on a medium flame for a few seconds or till it melts.
- Add the milk, cooked cauliflower, crushed peanuts, salt and 1 cup of water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 7 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot.

Cauliflower cooked in a peanut based gravy. Delicate flavor of peanut gravy goes very well with cauliflower and I love peanuts which made this dish divine.
