Chai-latte Smoothie recipe - How to make Chai-latte Smoothie

Makes 4 serving
For The Chai-latte
1 1/2 cups milk
2 cups water
1 tsp green cardamom (elaichi) powder
6 cloves (laung / lavang)
1 tsp cinnamon (dalchini) powder
1" ginger (adrak) washed scrapped n crushed
6 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp tea powder or 6 tea bags
For The Smoothie
chai-latte ice cubes
1 cup cream chilled
1 big banana
6 big scoops ice cream
1 cup chilled milk
sugar to taste

- For the Chai-latte
- Place water n the spices in the pot and boil on slow flame for 10 minutes.
- Add tea leaves or tea bags sugar and milk and again simmer for a few minutes.
- Switch off the flame n keep covered for 10 minutes.
- Cool strain n freeze into ice cubes.
- Combine the chai-latte ice cubes, banana, chilled cream, milk and ice cream scoops in a smoothie or mixer n churn till smooth.
- Adjust sugar to your sweetness.
- Serve immediately into chilled glasses.
