1/2 cup grated processed cheese
15 to 20 mushrooms (khumbh)
1 tsp chopped green chillies
2 tsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
1 tbsp finely chopped celery
1/2 cup plain flour (maida)
2 tbsp cornflour
a pinch of baking soda
1 tbsp hot oil
1/4 cup bread crumbs
salt and black pepper (kalimirch) powder to taste
Method
- Mix gently cheese,ghillies,garlic,celery,saltand pepper
- In another bowl mix maida,cornflour,soda,hotoil,salt and pepperto make a thick batter(add waterto this)
- Remove the stems of the mushrooms and fill in the cheese mixture and then dip it in the paste
- Coat them with the bread crumbs and deep fry them and serve with hot chiili sauce.
