Delicious and spicy recipe made with boiled and grated eggs cooked with chillies, onions, tomatoes and an array of spices.
Egg Kheema recipe - How to make Egg Kheema

4 boiled eggs, thickly grated
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 big tomato, finely chopped
1 tsp green chilli paste
1 tsp garlic (lehsun) paste
1 tsp ginger (adrak) paste
1 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
1/2 tsp cloves (laung / lavang) powder and black pepper (kalimirch) powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
a pinch asafoetida (hing)
1 tsp pav bhaji masala or garam masala
2 tbsp grated processed cheese (optional)
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp butter
salt to taste
Method
- Heat oil in a non stick pan add asafoetida(hing)& than add onion to it saute it till it is golden brown.
- Add all masala and saute for few seconds.
- Add chopped tomatoes and saute till softens.
- At last add grated eggs to it and stir it for 5 minutes till oil is seperated,remove from fire.
- Serve hot with bread.
