Makes 1 jar
1/2 cup mustard (rai / sarson) powder
1 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
2 tbsp salt
3 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp chilli powder
100 gms cauliflower florets
100 gms chopped carrots
50 gms fresh turmeric (amba halad)
50 gms green chillies
Method
- Method
- In a bowl mix mustard powder, turmeric powder, salt, lemon juice, oil and chilli powder.
- To this mixture add cauliflower,carrot, fresh turmeric, green chillies and mix well.
- Keep in sun for 2 days.
- When water separates transfer to an airtight container and store in refrigerator.
- This pickle can be stored for 3-4 months.
