Fresh Peach Stew, Microwave Peach Stew

The pleasant aroma and flavour of peach gets all the more exciting when laced with spices like cinnamon and clove. It is this effective combination of ingredients that gives the Fresh Peach Stew a totally irresistible aroma and lingering flavour!
The Fresh Peach Stew is very easy to make, and quite fast too when you use the microwave oven. Make sure you cool the stew well after it is ready, and refrigerate for at least an hour. You can enjoy the Fresh Peach Stew as such, or serve it over ice-cream, yoghurt, pancake or cereals.

Makes 4 servings
1 1/2 cups peeled and deseeded peach slices
3 tbsp sugar
25 mm (1") piece cinnamon (dalchini)
1 clove (laung / lavang)
1/2 tsp lemon juice
- Method
- Combine the peaches, sugar, cinnamon, cloves, lemon juice, and 5 tbsp of water in a microwave safe bowl, mix well and microwave on high for 8 minutes, while stirring once in between.
- Cool, refrigerate for atleast 1 hour and serve chilled.
