Fried ice- cream, a favourite mexican dessert. One has to be very quick while preparing and serving this recipe. It is crunchy from outside and creamy from inside.

Ingredients

a few scoops of vanilla ice-cream
oil for frying

To Be Mixed Into A Thick Batter
1 1/4 cups plain flour (maida)
1 1/2 cups water

For Rolling
coarsely crushed corn flakes

Method
    Method
  1. Chill the ice-cream scoops in the freezer.
  2. Dip the ice-cream scoops in the batter and roll into the corn flakes evenly.
  3. Chill again in the freezer for approximately 15 minutes.
  4. Deep fry in hot oil for a few seconds.
  5. Serve immediately with a sauce of your choice.

    Handy tip:
  1. Use solid ice-cream to avoid it from melting while frying.
  2. Once the oil is hot, only then remove it from the freezer and fry.
  3. Do not fry more than 1 ice-cream balls at a time.
