Makes 1 serving
For The Almond Milk
200 gms almonds (badam)
500 ml water
2 dates (khajur) (optional)
1/2 tsp vanilla essence (optional)
Other Ingredients
100 gms honeydew melon
100 gms orange , peeled and segmented
100 gms peach , peeled and segmented
100 gms pineapple , peeled and segmented
50 gms basil leaves
250 ml almond milk , recipe above
10 ice cubes

- for the almond milk
- Soak the almonds in water overnight or for at least six hours.
- Drain the water from the almonds and discard.
- Blend the almonds, vanilla essence and dates with water until almost smooth.
- Strain the blended almond mixture using a cheesecloth or any other strainer.
- This homemade raw almond milk can be stored in the refrigerator for 3/4 days.
