A very simple recipe but too soothing when eaten along with the meals, it can also be a good filler for people (the weight watchers) who want to avoid a meal and just feel like having something light and refreshing, no story as such to share along with this post. . Felt like adding to my journal coz it's too tasty and healthy yogurt recipe. . . "the ghiya ka raita"
Ghiya ka Raita recipe - How to make Ghiya ka Raita

Makes 1 to 2 servings
2 cups curds (dahi)
1 cup grated bottle gourd (doodhi / lauki)
salt to taste
chilli powder to taste
2 tsp chopped green chillies (optional)
garam masala to taste
2 tsp chopped mint leaves (phudina)
Method
- Method
- Pressure cook the bottle gourd little water for 1 whistle or till soft.
- Stain, cool and add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Serve chilled.
