Green Peas Idli recipe - How to make Green Peas Idli

Ingredients


For The Idli
2 cups semolina (rava) , roasted
3/4 cup green peas , coarsely ground
1 tbsp chopped fenugreek (methi) leaves
2 tsp curds (dahi)
2 tsp quick cooking rolled oats
2 tsp bitter gourd (karela) peel , grounded into paste
3 tsp ginger-green chilli paste
salt to taste
2 tsp fruit salt

To Be Mixed and Blended Into Chutney
2 cups hung curds (chakka dahi)
1 cup chopped strawberries
salt to taste
3 tsp honey
a pinch freshly ground black pepper powder
2 tsp chopped mint leaves (phudina) leaves

Method
    Method
  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Pour spoonful of batter into greased idli moulds and steam in an idli steamer for 7- 8 minutes or till the idlis are cooked.
  3. Serve immediately with chutney.
