Hot & Sour Soup recipe - How to make Hot & Sour Soup

1 tbsp soy sauce
3/4 tsp chilli sauce
1 tsp black pepper (kalimirch) powder
2 tbsp vinegar
1/2 tsp sugar
a pinch of M.S.G
1/4 cup chopped spring onions
1/4 cup chopped cabbage
1/4 cup chopped carrots
1/4 cup chopped capsicum
1/4 cup chopped mushrooms (khumbh)
1/4 cup cauliflower
a few bean sprouts
cornflour mixed with ΒΌ cup + 1 1/2 tbsp water
salt to taste
Method
- Take four cups of water put soya sauce, chili sauce, pepper powder, vinegar, sugar, ajinomoto and salt. bring to a boil.
- Add all vegetables and sprouts. simmer for 1 minute without covering.
- Add cornflour, mixed in water and stir continuously till it becomes thick.
- Serve very hot.
