Hot and Spicy Baked Cheese Fondue recipe - How to make Hot and Spicy Baked Cheese Fondue

Makes 6 serving
12 slices of white bread
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
3 eggs , beaten
3 cups milk
1/2 tsp mustard (rai / sarson) powder
1/4 tsp red chillies flakes
1/2 tsp red chilli sauce
1/2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
salt to taste
1 tbsp plain unsalted butter
Method
- Method
- Butter or oil for as required for greasing.
- Combine eggs with milk, mustard powder, chilli flakes, red chilli sauce, salt and butter. Whisk well.
- Grease an oven proof baking dish with butter.Place half of the bread slices in the baking dish.
- Cover the slices with cheese. Place the remaining bread slices on top. Pour the egg mixture on top.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until set. Serve immediately.
