- Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.
- Blend in a mixer till smooth.
- Strain the barley mixture using a strainer.

To make Barely Water for Babies, first take a pressure cooker.

Add the barley to it. Barley is commonly called as jau. Barley is a cereal grain that can be used whole, cracked or even as a flour. Here we used Pearl barley.

Add 1½ cups of water and mix well.

Close the lid of the pressure cook and pressure cook it for 3 whistles.
- Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.
