Lauki ki Sukhi Subzi recipe - How to make Lauki ki Sukhi Subzi

Makes 5 to 6 servings 6
3 cups chopped bottle gourd (doodhi / lauki)
2 tsp chopped garlic (lehsun)
2 tsp chopped green chillies
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/2 tsp chilli powder
3 tsp ghee
salt to taste

- Method
- Heat the ghee in a kadhai, add the cumin seeds, garlic, green chillies and saute for 1 minute.
- Add the bottle gourd, turmeric powder, chilli powder, mix well and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 4-5 minutes.
- When the subzi is dry, saute for more 2 minutes.
- Serve hot with puri or paratha.
