Perfectly cooked macaroni in a white sauce base flavoured finely with chopped parsley and assorted spices, the macaroni supreme is universally liked across the world by people of all age groups. Makes 4 servings
1 1/2 cups boiled pasta
2 cups white sauce
4 tbsp chopped parsley
a pinch of nutmeg (jaiphal) powder
a pinch of dried oregano or fresh oregano
1/2 cup grated processed cheese
1 medium tomato , sliced
a little butter
salt and to taste
Method
- Method
- Add the parsley, nutmeg powder, oregano, salt and pepper and three-quarters of the cheese to the white sauce.
- Add the macaroni and mix. Spread on a greased shallow dish and arrange tomato slices on top. Cover with the remaining cheese and dot with butter.
- Microwave on high for about 2 1/2 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
