1 medium sized mango, chopped
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
For the seasoning:
1 tsp oil
a pinch asafoetida (hing)
1/2 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
Method
- In a kadai,heat the oil.
- Add the mustard.
- When it begins to splutter add the hing.
- Remove from the fire.
- Mix all the ingredients well and store in an air-tight glass jar.
