Makes 1 to 2 servings
1 tbsp ghee
1 cup vermicelli (seviyan)
1 cup milk
1 cup sugar
1/2 mango pulp
10 pistachio slivers
5 saffron (kesar) strands
Method
- Method
- Heat the ghee in a pan, add vermicelli and fry until golden brown.
- Bring milk to boil in a heavy bottomed pan, add the fried vermicelli, pistachios and saffron threads.
- Cook until the vermicelli turns soft and transparent.
- Add the sugar, mango pulp and cook until sugar has completely dissolved.
- Serve hot or cold.
