This subji is very nutritious. a very healthy side dish for the mother. this should be had with rice. instead of chilly powder pepper is added. lactating mothers should avoid potato, raw banana, and like vegetables.

1 cup yellow moong dal (split yellow gram)
4 to 5 pcs drumsticks (saijan ki phalli / saragavo)
Seem - chopped 1 table spoon
1 tbsp chopped cluster beans (gavarfali)
1 tbsp chopped carrots
black pepper (kalimirch) powder to taste
salt to taste , 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tsp chopped garlic (lehsun)
oil very little
mustard seeds ( rai / sarson) for seasoning
chopped coriander (dhania) leaves for garnishing
2 tbsp tamarind (imli) water
Method
- Wash moong dal and boil well, steam the veggies also.
- In the kadai add little oil put the mustard seeds after they spultter,put the chopped garlic.
- Add the veggies. mash the moong dal and add it to the veggies, add the tamarind juice.
- Add salt, pepper and termeric powder.
- Add little water and allow it to boil.after it thickens put off the fire .ga
