A lovely mix of palak with spices makes palak paratha a healthy and tasty breakfast or tiffin item.
Palak-besan Parathas recipe - How to make Palak-besan Parathas

Makes 3 parathas
2 cups whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
1 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
1/2 cup spinach (palak) puree
1 tsp ginger-green chilli paste
3 tsp garlic (lehsun) paste
salt to taste
3 tbsp oil
ghee for cooking
Method
- Method
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, mix well and knead into a soft dough, using enough water.
- Divide the dough into 3 equal portions and roll out each portion into a circle of 6" diameter, using the flour for rolling.
- Heat a tava and cook each paratha, using little oil, till golden brown spots appear on both the sides.
- Serve hot.
