Makes 6 parathas
1 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
1/2 cup chopped spinach (palak)
2 tbsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
salt to taste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/2 tsp coriander-cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tbsp oil
oil for cooking

- For the dough
- Combine all the ingredients and make a semi soft dough, adding water as per required.
- Divide the dough into 6 equal portion. Keep aside.

- Roll out each portion of the dough into a 150 mm. (6”) diameter circle.
- Cook on a hot tava (griddle) on both sides using a little oil until brown spots appear on the surface.
- Repeat the steps 1 and 2 to make 5 more parathas.
- Serve hot with fresh curds.
