2 cups paneer (cottage cheese) cubes
3 tbsp oil
1 tbsp ghee
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 tbsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
1 tsp finely chopped ginger (adrak)
2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1 cup finely chopped onions
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania) stems
3/4 cup sliced onions
3/4 cup sliced capsicum
2 tsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
To Be Mixed Into Masala Paste
1/2 cup curd (dahi)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tbsp coriander-cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch)
To Blend Into A Paste
1 cup roughly chopped tomatoes
1 soaked whole dry kashmiri red chilli , broken into pieces
1 tbsp blanched cashew nuts (kaju)
1 tbsp coriander (dhania)
