Paneer Pakoda recipe - How to make Paneer Pakoda

Makes 4 servings
50 gms paneer (cottage cheese)
1 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
2 tsp oil
salt to taste
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
2 tsp chopped green chillies
oil for deep frying
chutney for serving
Method
- Method
- Combine all the ingredients along with 1/2 cup of water, except the paneer, and blend in a mixer till smooth. Keep aside.
- Sprinkle little salt and chilli powder on the paneer cubes and keep aside.
- Heat the oil in a kadhai, dip each paneer cube in the prepared batter and deep fry in hot oil till they turn golden brown and crisp from all the sides.
- Drain on an absorbent paper and serve immediately with chutney.
