Makes 4 servings
3/4 cup finely chopped pointed gourd (parwal)
1 1/2 cups milk
1 tsp powdered cardamoms
2 tbsp condensed milk
2 tsp ghee
cinnamon (dalchini) (dalchini)
1 clove
1 cardamom (elaichi)
To Garnish
cardamom (elaichi) powder
basil leaves
Method
- Method
- Heat the ghee in a pan and add the cinnamon, clove, cardamom and parval and saute and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the condensed milk, cardamom powder and milk, mix well and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Keep it covered for sometime.
- Serve hot with puris or serve chilled as a dessert.
