Ingredients

1 cup deseeded and sliced plums
3 tbsp sugar
2 small sticks cinnamon (dalchini)
2 tsp cornflour

For Serving
8 scoops vanilla ice-cream

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan along with ¾ cup of water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 6 to 8 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  2. Cool completely and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Just before serving, pour the plum mixture into 8 individual small glasses topped it with one scoop of vanilla ice-cream in each glass.
  4. Serve immediately.
