Makes 4 serving
8 bread slices
butter as required
oil for deep frying
To Be Mixed Together For The Filling
1/2 cup grated processed cheese
1/2 cup boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
1 cup blanched spinach (palak)
salt to taste
a pinch chaat masala
1 tsp chilli powder
To Be Mixed Together For A Smooth Batter
3/4 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
a pinch chilli powder
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
salt to taste
water as required

- Method
- Spread butter on 4 bread slices and keep aside.
- Spread equal portions of the filling evenly on the buttered bread slices.
- Finally cover the slices with the remaining unbuttered bread slices.
- Cut each set in a cross to form two triangles.
- Pinch the edges to secure them tightly shut.
- Now heat oil in a deep bottomed pan, dip one bread triangle in the batter and deep fry till golden brown adn crisp from all the sides.
- Drain on an absorbent paper and serve hot.
