Ingredients

8 bread slices
butter as required
oil for deep frying

To Be Mixed Together For The Filling
1/2 cup grated processed cheese
1/2 cup boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
1 cup blanched spinach (palak)
salt to taste
a pinch chaat masala
1 tsp chilli powder

To Be Mixed Together For A Smooth Batter
3/4 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
a pinch chilli powder
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
salt to taste
water as required

Method
    Method
  1. Spread butter on 4 bread slices and keep aside.
  2. Spread equal portions of the filling evenly on the buttered bread slices.
  3. Finally cover the slices with the remaining unbuttered bread slices.
  4. Cut each set in a cross to form two triangles.
  5. Pinch the edges to secure them tightly shut.
  6. Now heat oil in a deep bottomed pan, dip one bread triangle in the batter and deep fry till golden brown adn crisp from all the sides.
  7. Drain on an absorbent paper and serve hot.
