Quick Carrot Rice recipe - How to make Quick Carrot Rice
Preparation Time: Cooking Time: Total Time:
4 to 6 cups boiled rice
1 cup chopped onions
3 to 4 carrots
2 tsp coriander (dhania) seeds
1 tsp coconut
4 red chillies
cloves (laung / lavang) , poppy seeds (khus-khus), bayleaves (tejpatta) (as required)
oil for frying
salt , chilli powder, garam masala to taste
Method
- Boil carrots for few mins and then scrub it.
- Grind red chillies,coconut and dhania in mixie.
- Heat oil and fry the spices.
- Then add finely chopped onions,the ground powder,and scrubbed carrots.mix well and fry for few mins.
- Then add salt,chilly powder and garam masala and again fry for a min.
- Now add the boiled rice and mix well.
- Serve hot
