Raw Mango and Onion Paratha recipe - How to make Raw Mango and Onion Paratha

  1. Put the mango into the mixer, add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, sugar and methi powder and blend in a mixer into a coarse paste.
  2. Add the onions and peanut powder and again grind for a minute.
  3. Shift into a serving bowl.
  4. Combine the flour with enough water and knead into a semi-stiff dough. Cover and keep aside for 15 to 20 minutes.
  5. Divide into 6 equal portions.
  6. Roll 1 portion in to a small circle. Put a portion of the above stuffing in the middle,close it by bringing all the edges into the middle and roll again into mini paratha.
  7. Heat a tava and cook the mini paratha on both the sides till light brown in colour using a little oil.
  8. Repeat with the remaining dough and stuffing to make 5 more parathas.
  9. Serve hot.

The mixture was too liquidy, and it did not come together properly when forming the parathas.

   This is a member contributed recipe. But it is probably the onions which must have turned the stuffing liquidy. To the finely chopped onions, sprinkle a little salt and keep it aside for 15 minutes. Squeeze and remove all the water an then use it for stuffing. This should work.
