Relishing Lauki Ki Kheer recipe - How to make Relishing Lauki Ki Kheer

Makes 4 servings
500 gms bottle gourd (doodhi / lauki) , grated
1 ltr milk
3 tsp deshi ghee
300 gms sugar
2 bayleaf (tejpatta)
2 cardamoms , powdered
2 tsp cornflour , dissolved in 1/4 cup water
For The Garnish
chopped cashew nuts

Method
- Method
- Tie the bottle gourd in a muslin cloth and drain the excess water.
- Boil the milk in a deep pan till the reduces to half.
- Meanwhile, heat the ghee in a pan and add the bayleaf and cardamom and add the bottle gourd and saute for 5 minutes.
- Add the reduced milk and boil for more 10 minutes.
- Add the cornflour paste and cook for more 5 minutes.
- Serve hot garnished with cashew and raisin.
