Makes 5 servings
3 cups rice (chawal)
2 potatoes
1 carrot
1 cup coriander (dhania) leaves
4 green chillies
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 cup grated coconut
1/2 cup ghee
2 flakes of garlic (lehsun)
1/2 " piece of ginger (adrak)
salt per taste

- Method
- 1. Wash the rice and strain the water. Cut all the vegetables.
- 2. Grind coriander leaves, coconut, garlic and ginger. Put ghee in a kadai. Put jeera and grinded masala and fry a little.
- 3. Put the washed rice and fry for some time. Add the vegetables. Add double quantity of boiled water to the rice. Add salt per taste. Let it cook.
- 4. Decorate with fresh grated coconut and coriander leaves. Enjoy.
