Juicy pineapple pieces are sizzled with simple spices and sautéed to result in a very peppy satay that is also healthy. Moreover, pineapple is a fruit found almost throughout the year, so this dish can be relished any time. Serve immediately to prevent them from becoming watery.

To Be Mixed Together For The Masala Mixture
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1/2 tsp sugar
salt to taste
Other Ingredients
1 1/2 tsp oil
20 pineapple cubes , cut into 50 mm. (2”) pieces
Method
- Method
- Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the pineapple pieces and sauté on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Add the masala mixture and the sauté on a medium flame for another 2 to 3 minutes.
- Pierce a toothpick into each pineapple cube and serve immediately.
