Spicy Pepper Garlic Sauce

Pull together garlic and a couple of spices and you get a strong flavour that will warm your taste buds. This Spicy Pepper Garlic Sauce does just that, and throws in a bit of tomato ketchup too, for a delectable tang.
It takes just a few minutes to make, but adds a lot of jazz to any dish. You can serve the Spicy Pepper Garlic Sauce as an accompaniment for starters, or use it to make mouth-watering sizzlers and grills.

Makes 0.75 cup
1 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) to taste
1/2 tsp garlic (lehsun) paste
2 tsp cornflour
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
salt to taste
- Method
- Combine all the ingredients in a broad non-stick pan along with 1 cup of water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes, while stirring continuously. Use as required.
