The potatoes can be substituted with mince meat.

You might have to tilt the rotis so as to fry the sides evenly.

Serve with tomato ketchup.

Ingredients



for the filling :-
4 medium sized potatoes, boiled and mashed
3 green chillies
1/2 cup mint leaves (phudina)
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup coriander (dhania) leaves
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
salt to taste

For the dough:-
2 cups plain flour (maida)
salt to taste
oil for frying

  1. Sift the flour and make a dough like the one for rotis.

For the filling :

  1. Mix all the ingredients in the filling section.
  2. Make small portions of the dough and roll out to thin rotis.
  3. Spread a spoonfull of egg on the roti. spread the filling in the centre of the roti.
  4. Fold the rotis from either side and seal the bottom and top of the rotis.
  5. On a griddle pour oil and shallow fry the rotis.
  6. Make sure to turn around the roti.
