Makes 2 servings
To Be Grind Into Smooth Paste
10 to 15 cashewnuts (kaju) , soaked in water for few minutes
2 to 3 almonds (badam) , soaked for few minutes
1 tbsp cumin seeds (jeera)
3 to 4 tbsp grated coconut
1/2 cup curds (dahi)
1/4 cup coriander (dhania)
2 green chillies
salt to taste
Other Ingredients
1 cup yam (suran) , cut into small sized cubes
1 tbsp chilli powder
2 tbsp oil
Method
- Method
- Heat the oil in a pan, add the chilli powder, suran and 1 glass of water and simmer till the suran is soft.
- Add the prepared paste, mix well and simmer for 10 minutes. Make sure that the gravy is not too watery, remove from the flame.
- Serve hot.
