250 gms sugar
300 ml water
4 slices of bread (cut the edges)
3 cardamoms (elaichi)
a pinch of saffron (kesar) strands
oil for frying
chopped mixed nuts
Method
- Add sugar to the water and cook to make a chashni.
- Add cardamom and kesar.
- Cut the bread slices in any desireble shape and deep fry in oil.
- When golden brown take them out and dip it into the chashni once and arrange it on the serving dish.
- Garnish with dryfruits or silver foil .serve hot.
