Makes 8 to 10 pancakes
1 cup chana dal (split bengal gram) , soaked for 2 hrs
1 cup cooked rice
1/2 cup quick cooking rolled oats
3 tbsp jowar (white millet) flour
1 tbsp soyabean flour
1 tsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
1 tsp mint (phudina) paste
1 tsp green chilli paste
2 tbsp chopped spinach (palak)
1 tbsp chopped onions
1 tbsp chopped tomatoes
2 tsp flax seeds
salt to taste
2 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp curds (dahi)
For The Garnish
1/2 cup chopped capsicum
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup grated processed cheese
For Serving

- Method
- Coarsely ground the soaked chana dal.
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well to make a smooth batter for pancakes.
- Grease the pan with little oil and pour a ladle full of batter and spread it in a circular motion to get a medium sized round pancake.
- Cook from both the sides till it turns light brown in colour.
- Repeat the same process to make more pancakes with the remaining batter.
- Garnish with capsicum, onions, tomatoes and cheese and serve hot with tomato sauce.
